Re: ONEderland Approachs?

Cathy -
GREAT NEWS on the forever gone 2 pounds! Congrats!!!
I am exactly 11 months further out than you and had almost the same
starting weight. In my 3rd year I "only" lost 25 pounds, which
seems terribly slow compared to the first 2 years. But, when I
think of the fact that I AM STILL LOSING AND SO ARE YOU I am very
thankful for even the small losses. At this stage of the game I
know the reality of regain is just a few bites away! It is such a
struggle now but I have not made goal and am determined to do so. I
will keep you accountable if you will do the same for me! We have a
little over six weeks till the reunion in March so how about if we
encourage each other and both make that goal of 3 pounds?
You go girl....you can do it!

Okay, then starting today my goal is to get more water in (as soon
as I finish this cup of coffee...LOL). What are you going to do
    today towards our goal?

The challenge is ON! I got in some extra walking at lunch time
because of stupidity, but hey any exercise counts! I think it
should count extra since it was so cold out! LOL :-) I drove to our
public library to pick up a book and locked my keys in the car! I
live a little over a mile from there so walked home and got my son
to drive me back and used his key to open my car, and made it back
to work in time! I am NOT a good exerciser. At most I walk up to
the 4th floor at work a few times a day. Now to get busy on my
    water.

You're right, there is no way I could have walked it 3 years ago. I
could hardly make it through the grocery store without resting and I
would avoid going places if there was much walking involved. I
would have called someone and waited until I could be picked up (and
cried). The sense of freedom because you can do so many things that
    weren't possible before is awesome!
For 2 days now I have been lifting my shoulders so I can see the
holes by my collarbone...it just tickles me to see it. Doesn't take
    much to amuse me, huh?

Isn't that neat? I also have found out I have a tail bone and it
wasn't a thrilling discovery. Sometimes cushioning is better! LOL

You have a way with words..."cuddle chunky." I laughed out loud and
my boss wants to know what was so funny. I just said you don't want
to know to keep from embarrassing myself and him!!! LOL
